Letter from Princess Dental

Dear Princess Dental Patients,

We hope this letter finds you and your family in good health. Our community has been through a lot in the last few months, and all of us are looking forward to resuming our normal habits and routines. While many things have changed, one thing has remained the same; our commitment to you, your dental needs, and safety for everyone.

It was announced last week by Premier Brian Pallister that dental offices were able to open to the public. It is important to note, however, that the Manitoba Dental Association’s approach is one of phasing dentistry back into the public service. Our first phase is limited to those with emergency or urgent dental needs.

As we are unsure of the duration of this first phase, we are unable to say how long it will be before we are back to regular dental services. If you had previously scheduled an appointment, be aware it has been unscheduled. Please do not come in for your appointment unless you receive a confirmation from us first. Please wait for us to contact you via text message, email, or phone call with information about rescheduling.

Our patients will play a very important role in maintaining a safe environment in the clinic. We’ve created a detailed list of new guidelines for our patients to follow when they come in for appointments:

  • Prior to booking an appointment, you will need to fill out a Covid-19 form available on our website.
  • Your temperature will be taken with a contactless thermometer when arriving at the clinic.
  • You will be asked to use hand sanitizer and to wear a mask at all times when inside the clinic.
  • We ask that patients come unaccompanied, unless absolutely necessary.
  • We ask patients to call our office from their vehicles when they arrive for an appointment. We will contact you when we are ready for you to enter the office.
  • All patients and team members are asked to maintain social distancing in waiting areas and in the clinical area.

We look forward to seeing you again and are happy to answer any questions you may have about the steps taken to keep everyone safe in our practice. We value your trust and loyalty and sincerely thank you for your patience working through these uncertain times.

Be Safe and Stay Well, Your Princess Dental Team
