Established in 1989 by Dr. Smith, our philosophy here has always been “Preventative Family Dentistry” based on establishing each patient’s individual needs in a warm and caring atmosphere. The evolution of our clinic has never deviated from that philosophy, the patient experience is our number one priority. The atmosphere and philosophy have remained the same under the guidance of new owners Adele and Geoff McIntosh.
We think you will appreciate the warm and friendly manner in which we treat our patients. Our commitment is to apply our dental knowledge and skills in a caring and gentle way, so you feel at ease as we help you attain the smile you desire.
Our main priority is to work with you to achieve a smile that can maximize your personal health, appearance, and raise your self-esteem.
We are also a kid friendly office, and we want you to know that we enjoy patients of all ages!
Dr. Geoff McIntosh
Our fearless leader hails from our sister province of Saskatchewan. Geoff got his first taste of Brandon while playing for the Brandon Wheat Kings. Upon graduation from the University of Saskatchewan Dental College, he practiced in Campbell River, BC. Geoff is a real family man and enjoys time with his wonderful wife Adele and three beautiful children. The rest is history, as they say, as the practice has flourished under GMac’s leadership. The appropriate ending to this story, is that not only is Dr. Smith still working in the practice, but they have also become the official dentists for the Brandon Wheat Kings.

Dr. Guy Smith was born and raised in Brandon MB. He is a science graduate of Brandon University and a graduate of Univ of Manitoba faculty of Dentistry. He is a HUGE Brandon Wheat Kings fan, which is no small factor in the instant chemistry that seemed to evolve when Geoff arrived on the scene. “I am absolutely “thrilled” with what Adele and Geoff are doing with the office”, says Guy. He hopes to be part of the new Princess Dental for years to come!!!!!
Dr. Jill Gudmandson
Dr Jill Gudmandson was born and raised in Winnipeg, Manitoba where she graduated from the University of Manitoba obtaining her BSc (2010) and her DMD (2014). Living in the country and working in Brandon, Jill hopes to be able to provide these services to the population of southwestern Manitoba. In her spare time, Jill loves to go snowboarding in the winter and spending time at the lake or at the pool in the summer. Her love for the water comes from her years of competitive diving as a teenager, which she continues to be involved in training to become a national level judge.
Treatment Coordinator/Human Resources
Perfectly suited for her position, “Jer” brings invaluable experience and people skills to the office everyday. A KCC Grad, her dental assisting background allowed her to seamlessly transition into her current role as Treatment Coordinator/HR. In the privacy of her office, Jer will sit down with a patient so that their treatment plan is carefully explained, coordinated with their dental insurance coverage, and the appropriate appointments scheduled.
Jerilyn is married with 2 busy teenage girls. Always dressed to a “tea”, she always has the ability to bring the positive out in everyone she comes in contact with. Rumour among those in the know at MPI, is that Jer is poised to accept Manitoba’s prestigious ” Most Creative Driver” of the year award. Stay tuned!
